01

Drawn with restraint

Pattern, rhythm, and proportion begin in Italy. Each decision serves the finished room rather than the passing season.

02

Made by practiced hands

Production is measured, checked, and completed in considered runs by experienced textile ateliers. Country of origin remains stated in each product specification.

03

Natural fibers only

The launch collection uses 100% cotton. We choose fiber for hand, use, and longevity, not novelty.

04

Made for the order

The Mare peshtemals and custom trade specifications are produced to order. The approximate production window is 30 days before dispatch, with timing confirmed for each project.

Notes on material and ritual.

Short readings from the world around the collection.

01

The peshtemal, beyond the bath

A Turkish textile with a long memory and a place in the contemporary interior.

The peshtemal began as an object of utility: absorbent, portable, and adaptable. Its intelligence lies in proportion. It can move from bath to terrace, from travel to the foot of a bed, without asking the room to change around it.

VALLESSIO keeps that versatility and gives it a quieter scale. The result is not a decorative interruption, but a textile that settles into daily life.

02

Care is part of the design

How to wash natural cotton with less force and more time.

Cold water and a gentle cycle are enough for considered cotton. Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softener, which can sit between fibers and change the hand of the cloth.

Line drying is preferred. A low tumble is suitable when needed. Fold only when fully dry, and allow the textile room to breathe between uses.

03

The virtue of waiting

Why the first collection is made to order.

Made-to-order production begins with a real need rather than a forecast. It keeps the maker closer to the piece and limits material committed without purpose.

Our approximate 30-day production window is not a claim of urgency. It is the time required to prepare a piece with the attention its scale deserves.
